Description

I'm a hyper-indie developer based out of Lexington, KY working predominately with Twine.

History

Creative Writing

I graduated from the University of Kentucky with a degree in English, and an emphasis in Creative Writing and Film. My work was predominately in flash fiction and prose writing. I didn't get invovled with game writing until 2013 or so, when I began to experiment with traditional parser IF and then later Twine.

Game Development

While I first started working with Inform 7, I moved away from traditional parser. My earliest game development is in simple card games and basic hypertext stories. In 2013 I was introduced to Twine and made my first Twine game during the Ludum Dare compo. My Old Kentucky Home is my first completed Twine game, and is still undergoing revision.

Awards & Recognition

  • "Most Innovative Game" - "Get a Clue," GGJ14 BCTC

Selected Articles

  • "Excellent writing, it does the job of getting an emotional reaction. The visuals are simple but help set the mood. The songs are great. No real 'humor' but that's obviously not the point of this entry. Great job overall!"
